DESCRIPTION:“Salute to Freedom Flotilla”\nMakes a visit to our club this Saturday at 1:15PM\nThe Cortlandt Yacht Club will be having its Annual “Salute to Freedom” Flotilla on Saturday June 24\, 2017.\nIt will be passing by the Newburgh Yacht Club about 1:15pm.\n\nA supply of flags will be available at Commodore’s Point for Newburgh Yacht Club Members . We’ll need members to come and wave the flags and cheer the flotilla as it passes by. Please attend if you can.\nThe flotilla is dedicated to wounded warriors\, Gold Star families and Purple Heart veterans. The Cortland Yacht Club provides their honored guests with a full day of food\, boating\, swimming and especially our deepest appreciation for what they have sacrificed for our freedom. \nCaptain Brian Young of the Cortlandt Yacht Club says the flotilla of approximately 15 to 20 boats with honored guests aboard will be passing by the Newburgh Yacht Club at approximately 1:15 PM.\nCapt. Brain says\, “We’d very much appreciate it if members of your club would come out to cheer on and show appreciation for their sacrifices. I look forward to your support of these heroes.”
