The Newburgh Yacht Club offers a stunning view of Mount Beacon, Bannermans Island and Storm King Mountain.
It has an up to date facility, maintained by an eclectic and talented membership. New items include recently installed docks and a new swimming pool set to open for this summer.
NYC has transient slips available, a gas dock, and a restaurant, Pamela’s on the Hudson.
The lively Front Street section of Newburgh is a few hundred yards south of our marina and features shopping, restaurants, nightclubs, Tour boat rides and a host of Newburgh city sponsored activity.
The Newburgh Yacht Club is a member of the Hudson Valley Marina Association and invites members of any and all these facilities to stop by and visit the NYC!
Brian Young, Cortlandt Yacht Club says
The Cortlandt Yacht Club will be having our 3rd Annual “Salute to Freedom” flotilla on July 12, 2014. The flotilla is dedicated to wounded warriors, Gold Star families and Purple Heart veterans. We provide our honored guest with a full day of food, boating, swimming and especially our deepest appreciation for what they have sacrificed for our freedom. The flotilla of approximately 15 boats with honored guests aboard will be passing by your club at approximately 1:00 PM. We would very much appreciate it if members of your club would come out to cheer on and show appreciation for their sacrifices. Please contact me at the attached e-mail address or my cell phone: 914 325-0705. I look forward to your support of these heroes. Thank you. P.S. Last year one of your boaters came out to greet us with flags flying and heartfelt cheers. It meant a lot to many of our honored guests as well as myself. thank you for that.
