July 4th Party A Delicious Success
The rain came and the tents came out. The Newburgh Yacht Club Members weathered the storm. Just in time for the main dish of the day, the roast pig, the rain finally cleared. This allowed the pig to be finished in fine style as you’ll see in the video.
This kind of event takes a great deal of expertise and know how. Our own Edward”Moon” Mullins deserves credit here. From designing his own special cooker for the pig to his skills on the smoker for the ribs and pulled pork. Moon has perfected his talents and those attending the Pig Roast got to enjoy it.
Special thanks to all the club members who helped with the cooking, serving and clean-up. Commodore Bill Chesser said it was a great event.
