Blessing of the Fleet 2017
This year’s Blessing of the Fleet had big turnouts for the Blessing Ceremony, Brunch and Boat Parade.
The Deacon Peter Haight of Saint Andrews Church took care of the Blessing and Memorial Service. Commodore Greg Dombroski opened the ceremonies and introduced the club officers and directors. Art Livesey announced the boat parade as it passed the reviewing area. Thanks to our members who brought out their boats.
Chilled Mimosas were enjoyed on the patio immediately following the program before brunch. The champagne and orange juice for them were donated by Tom, Denise and Zach Costa of The North Plank Tavern. The pictures of the day were taken by Ken Mennerich and Edward “Moon” Mullins.
