The election of officers and directors for 2022 for the Newburgh Yacht Club was held at the club’s October General Membership Meeting on Friday October 15, 2021.

All of the officers were reelected to their current posts. Past Commodore Greg Dombroski served as election committee chairman. He read the slate of candidates, asked for nominations from the floor and received none, then made a motion to have the secretary cast one ballot electing the following officers:

            Commodore:                                       John Disciglio
            Vice Commodore:                               Chris Carfora
            Secretary:                                           Stu Keeler
            Treasurer:                                           Steve Rockafellow
             Purser:                                                Frank Galli
             Fleet Captain:                                    Dan Galage

Members did vote on selecting three directors from four candidates who were running for 2-year director positions. The winners were:

                                 Bob Chesser
                                 Jim Jankun
                                 Ed O’Neill

All are currently club directors. The fourth candidate was Joe Pillitteri.

Greg Dombroski thanked all of the members that ran for office.      Assisting Greg with the election process were Bill Horton and Jim Distefano.
