Remembering Hurricane Sandy –10 years ago

The major television stations in New York City this week have been doing features remembering the damage Hurricane Sandy brought to our area 10 years ago. These are pictures taken at our club following the winds, rain, and storm surge.
If you’d like more information, we have 3 reports, made five years ago, on the damage and the rebuilding of the club. The reports are all with past commodores.
The first is with Garry Dugan who was Commodore when the storm hit. It covers how members worked together to handle the damage and began rebuilding.
The second and third reports are with Bill Chesser and Greg Dombroski, describing the major rebuilding and replacement of facilities at the club.
