New club swimming pool getting a fundraising boost.

   

Peggy O’Neill,  the wife of our Vice Commodore Ed O’Neill, has run golf outings over the last 7 years benefiting the pool fund with more than $33,000 and she is stepping up again.   As the pool nears completion that amount raised is not enough to cover all the costs of the pool, deck and railings.   Peggy will now be running a fundraising dinner and pool sponsorship campaign to raise additional funds for the pool.

Peggy is asking all Members; Honorary; Life; Boating; Associate; Seasonal; and New to make a donation and become a pool sponsor.

Peggy says, all members have access to the pool at no extra charge, and  it’s crucial that we have your financial support.  She says if you haven’t made a donation to the pool fund you’re invited to do so now.

We’ll be having a fun event for everyone, Peggy says, a BBQ Steak Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, July 18, 2015, $40 per person, with Raffles and 50/50.

In addition to Pool Sponsors we will need gift baskets – valued at $25 or more – donated for the raffle.

POOL FUNDRAISING BBQ STEAK DINNER — SATURDAY –  7/18/2015 –  6:00 PM–at the Clubhouse

$40 per person includes: Appetizers, 8 oz. sirloin steak, roasted potatoes, vegetables, dessert, beer, wine, soda, and water.
