All Hands On Deck For Clean-Up Day
Please remember that Clean-Up Day is fast approaching on Saturday, June 7th.
All hands are asked to show at 8 am to lend a hand in cleaning, sprucing and beautifying our clubhouse and grounds.
This day has become an important function of the club and comes right before the “Blessing of the Fleet” that occurs on the very next day Sunday June 8th.
This clean-up day is mandatory in attendance and a 4 hour addition to your work program hours are assessed for non-participation.
The day is not all work as we will offer a nice lunch to follow a substantial completion of clean-up chores, and you get to see all the members on a great day for the Club.
Members spouses and significant family members are urged to join in and lend a hand.
So, come on down, help the club and help yourself in the process to make our club shine for the best part of the year, Boating Season at the Club!
Members looking for exclusion from attendance should check with me prior to June 7th.
I’m looking forward to seeing you on the 7th,
Jim Distefano,
Vice Commodore and Work Program Chairman
