Large Boat Parade Highlight of Blessing of the Fleet
More than 15 boats took part in our Blessing of the Fleet boat parade. We were happy to have, Deacon Peter Haight of the Scared Heart Catholic Church in Newburgh, back with us to do the Blessing Ceremony. Solid Improvements at the Newburgh Yacht Club
Our members as part of the work program recently completed two concrete projects. One for storm protection the other to give us more space in our picnic area. This was the final step in installing the H Block. The already heavy concrete H Block was previously set along the East-West Barrier of the Marina. Goodbye Utility Poles
Newburgh Yacht Club members we'll be having a less obstructed view of the river, Mt. Beacon and the Hudson Highlands. The utility poles and the electric lines they hold spanning the entire 1/8 mile of "D" dock will soon be gone.
