Boating on the Hudson since 1885
The Newburgh Yacht Club will be hosting the November meeting for the Hudson River Boat & Yacht Club on Tuesday, November 29th. The meet and greet begins at 6:30pm, with dinner being served at 7pm, and the meeting starting at 8pm.
The invited guest is Ed Kelly, Executive Director of the Maritime Association of the Port of NY/NJ, an organization that advocates for maritime-related activities in the tri-state port. Ed will discuss the Tug and Barge Committee’s request for 10 Hudson River anchorages and offer a Q&A session.
Five swing circles proposed for the anchorage at Newburgh are 3,600 feet in diameter, claiming a significant portion of the middle of Newburgh Bay.
Ed “Moon” Mullins will be doing the cooking, but we need to know if you are coming or not!
Please email me if you are coming, and if you are bringing a guest, so we know how much food to prepare.
Also, if you could show up around 6:15pm, to help setup, it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Greg Dombroski, Commodore
