Today's strong south winds were pushing waves right up the Hudson River.   It must have been tiring to the resident ducks in the neighborhood of our marina.   Our club members who walked out this morning on "D" Dock got to see about 12 of the mallards getting some rest one of our dock fingers. Nice weather brought out club members to tackle some of the major work projects at the Newburgh Yacht Club. We have our new pool which we designed and built to be in operation without a professional lifeguard being on duty.    This is saving the club thousands of dollars each year in labor and payroll taxes.
