Fundraising for the new pool has been going on for the past eight years. During the last seven years golf outings were held annually. More than $33,000 has been raised for the pool. Funds raised at this event will help pay the costs of the pool railings and deck.
Peggy O’Neill who chaired all of the golf outings is in charge of this event. She has praised the hard work members have put into the new pool construction and the members who have helped over the years with donations and support of the fund raising.
Now she says all members will be able to enjoy the benefits of these efforts. This pool fundraiser will be the perfect opportunity for members, old and new, to support our new pool which will be a valued asset of of club for years and years to come. In addition to attending the dinner she hopes many members will consider becoming pool sponsors and boosters.
