Replacing Old D-Dock Fingers Highlights our Spring Work Tasks
Work Chairman Joe Pillitteri says we had a good turnout for our first Saturday. He reminds members we’ll have work hours continuing each Saturday. Keep an eye on your email from the club for more details.
Logistics and Member Power Were the Key Ingredients in Removing the Heavy Dock Fingers.
Our Pontoon Work Boat and large floating dock were called in as work platforms.
The fingers we were removing were each about 30 feet long and a yard wide.
Our BobCat was used to transport the cut up pieces of the fingers to the dumpster.
C-Dock got attention too!
As this crew worked along C-Dock checking its condition, connectors and pileings, Dan Galage, kept a safety watch with life preservers on our pontoon boat.
A Delicious Breakfast Was Served

These items look like rugged fans; they’re not for air. But water. We use them year-round in the marina. They move water and floating debris around helping keep our water cleaner.
This is the time of year when we check out these Circulator Units and make sure they are going to be ready for the boating season ahead.
