Approximately 60 to 70 members and their families came out for the Newburgh Yacht Club's annual Family Day. It was held Saturday November 1, 2014. It was a cold , windy and sometimes wet day. “What A Day” at the Newburgh Yacht Club
Construction began on our new swimming pool. Boat hauling was in full swing. Shrink wrapping was underway. Members were cleaning their boats and getting in their final work hours. Back then it was the Newburgh Canoe and Boating Association. They were located at the foot of Fourth Street in an almost inaccessible recess of a dock storehouse.
