For the first time in many years stormy weather interfered with our Blessing of the Fleet. The rain and windy conditions forced us to cancel our Boat Parade, one of the most looked forward to parts of our Blessing program. Thank you Club Members–for Fall Clean Up Day.

When we arrived for the Fall Clean Up Day, which is a mandatory workday for all boating members, it was so foggy we couldn't see the Newburgh Beacon Bridge from our clubhouse. As the Club's Work Program chairperson Joe Pillitteri got us out to start the first projects the foghorn on the bridge was sounding.
