The gasoline and desiel pumps are operational and ready for business. The pumps are activated by your credit card and are available seven days a week for your convenience. The gas dock is accessed directly from the river. It is located in front of our Clubhouse Building.
During the last several months the Gas Dock at the Newburgh Yacht Club has undergone a complete renovation. As you can see in the picture below the metal on the dock has been cleaned, treated, primed and painted. All of the wooden decking has been be replaced. A new safety water egress ladder has also been added to the dock.

Work Chairman Joe Pillitteri had a good crew of members turn out for early work hours on Saturday April 5th. They got the gas dock back in the water and secured it to the bulkhead. They also installed the stabilization pipes on all the fingers of the “B” and “C” Docks.

Director Dan Galage was all smiles on getting the Gas Dock back on the river. Dan was very insturmental in the renovation of the dock, using his expertiese and knowledge to guide members in the work and make the project successful.
Past Commodore Bill Chesser made sure the connections on the fuel lines from the pump out to the fill nozzles on the gas dock were secure for the boating season ahead..




Past Commodore Greg Dombroski took care of removing the shrink wrap from the gas pump. This pump dispenses both the gasoline and deisel fuel the club sells to boaters.

Below is the club’s work float. It recently received some major repairs. The work crew reports it was a very stable platform to work on, that it was easy to manauver and they were pleased with it.

Members are now looking for good weather and a chance to get their boats cleaned and ready to go into the water for the boating season ahead.
