Large Boat Parade Highlight of Blessing of the Fleet

More than 15 boats took part in our Blessing of the Fleet boat parade. We were happy to have, Deacon Peter Haight of the Scared Heart Catholic Church in Newburgh, back with us to do the Blessing Ceremony. Peter was ill last year and couldn't be with us, everyone was glad to see him in fine spirits to help us start our boating season this year. Commodore Rich Bremer began the Newburgh Yacht Club Blessing of the Fleet with our traditional flag ceremony. See highlights of the ceremony by watching the slide show video above. This year's Blessing of the Fleet had big turnouts for the Blessing Ceremony, Brunch and Boat Parade.
